Graduating - General Info

To graduate, students must have completed and registered all exams (exam pass certificates) involved in their study plans (including work experiences, workshops, seminars, etc.) at least 15 days prior to the start date of the graduation exam session. Prior to this same deadline students must submit to the Student Services Office their University booklet (libretto universitario) containing the exams taken. The deadline for booklet submission is frequently prior to the closure of the simultaneous exam session. Students should take account of this in their exam planning. No extensions will be allowed for booklet submission. In the event that exams have not yet been completed a photocopy of the booklet can be submitted (with indications of the missing exams) and the original can be submitted later. Graduation applications must be filled in on Uniweb.

Degree applications

+ In addition to the Italian thesis title graduation applications must also include the thesis title in English.
+ The final year students’ questionnaire must also be filled in: www.almalaurea.it and a receipt attached to graduation applications.
+ When your application is confirmed a payment by advice for the procedure’s revenue stamp to be paid before the deadline shown will be generated.
+ Applicants must go to the Student Office (Casa Grimani, Lungargine Piovego 2/3) in person to submit their university booklets (libretto universitario).

The Departmental Teaching Course Administrative Office (didattica.dissgea@unipd.it) can access the applications presented at the Student Office directly and students are not required to submit paper copies at the Department itself. Students who do not succeed in completing their theses in time are advised to cancel their graduation applications on Uniweb promptly.

Thesis title page and bibliographical norms

Degree and specialisation degree thesis title pages must show the name of the course's reference department and of the course itself at the top. Where the thesis supervisor does not belong to the department of reference - commonplace in study courses with significant contributions from more than one department - the names of both the reference department and the supervisor's department must be shown.

Time frames and deadlines for graduation application and booklet submission

Specialisation degree students intending to graduate must complete the new online procedures for the submission of graduation applications.
