Scholarships and fees

The HILD Summer School is open to a maximum of 40 participants, 20 of which may be awarded a Full or Half scholarship. Students' selection will be carried out on a competitive basis and participants will be selected on their academic potential, past relevant experiences, personal motivation and reference letter.
Paying participants
Admitted participants must pay a fee of 100 EUR, which covers tuition costs and the learning materials handed out during the training. Accommodation, lunches and travel expenses are not included in the participation fee. Participants are requested to register to the HILD Summer School by paying the tuition fee either by credit card or via bank transfer, by March 5th 2014. Participants who will not have their payment settled will not be admitted to class.
In case of withdrawal from the course, an official withdrawal letter written by the enrolled student must be sent to the Summer School Secretariat in Olavarria (escueladeverano@gmail.com). The participation fee of 100 EUR, when already paid, will not be returned.
The general call for application for paying participants is open until February 28th 2014.
Scolarships
Grants will be awarded to 20 partecipants.
Scholarships are primarily intended for Ph.D. candidates, graduate or post graduate students, holders of a Master degree and young researchers with a particular research or professional interest in the issues related to the Summer School Programme.
Participants wishing to apply for a scholarship must state their interest in their motivation letter, which is included in the Application folder, or when sending their application folder by e-mail, to the Summer School Secretariat in Olavarria (escueladeverano@gmail.com).
Please note that a specific deadline for application is set for students applying for a scholarship: the call closes on December 18th 2013 (the call is now closed).
Selection results will be notified as soon as possible to each participant, via an e-mail message.
Two types of scholarships are available, they will be managed by the Summer School Secretariats and cover the following items.
Full Scholarship: tuition fee (100 EUR); learning materials; accommodation in Olavarria, by the Summer School venue; meals at University canteens.
Half Scholarship: tuition fee (100 EUR); learning materials; meals at University canteens.
Please note thar travel costs to and from Olavarria are not covered by the scholarship.
Students that have qualified for a scholarship will be given instructions in order to accept it officially.
