The Summer School in Labour cultures, productive systems and territorial heritage: models of analysis and case studies is open to a maximum of 30 participants. It is addressed to architects, urban planners, economists, historians and anthropologists.
The course is accredited at the University of Buenos Aires as a Professional Training Programme (C.A.P. - CURSO DE ACTUALIZACIÓN PROFESIONAL).
The course is also worth 6 ECTS credits, which will be awarded by the University of Padova.
Participation fees
The fee allows participants to take part in 10 full day classes (60 hours), from 9th March to 21 March, from 9.00 a.m. to 17.30 p.m.
The first week of lectures will take place at the Faculty of Economics - University of Buenos Aires; the second week of lectures will take place at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Buenos Aires.
The participation fee covers tuition costs and the learning materials handed out during the training. Accommodation, lunches and travel expenses are not included in the participation fee.
Participants are requested to register to the Summer School Secreteriat in Buenos Aires, through the POSTGRADUATE SECRETARIAT. PARTICIPATION FEE: $ 2160.-
GRADUATES FROM NATIONAL ARGENTINIAN UNIVERSITIES: $ 1512.-
GRADUATE TEACHERS FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF BUENOS AIRES (UBA): $ 1296.-
GRADUATE TEACHERS FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF BUENOS AIRES - FACULTY OF ARCHITECTURE, DESIGN AND URBAN PLANNING (UBA - FADU): $ 1080.-
Participants who will not have their payment settled will not be admitted to class.
The payment can be settled through the following:
- Cash;
- Credit card (Visa or Mastercard);
- Debit card (Banelco);
- Check (to be ordered to the University of Buenos Aires);
- bank transfer.
Final certificates
A certificate of attendance will be awarded to all participats. A certificate stating the completion of the Course will be awarded to alla graduates having an academic career of 4 years minimun.
Scholarships
A number of scholarships will be awarded. Full or Half scholarships will be awarded. Students' selection will be carried out on a competitive basis and participants will be selected on their academic potential, past relevant experiences, personal motivation and reference letter. Scholarships are primarily intended for Ph.D. candidates, graduate or post graduate students with a particular research or professional interest in the issues related to the Summer School Programme. Participants wishing to apply for a scholarship must state their interest in their motivation letter, which is included in the Application folder, or when sending their application folder by e-mail, to the Summer School Secretariat (francesca.mura@unipd.it).
A specific deadline for application is set for students applying for a scholarship: the call closes on December 19th 2014.
