Double MA in Mobility & Humanities - official launch
Bowland North Seminar Room 13 (Lancaster University) and online
22.01.2026
Thursday 22nd January 2026, 3.00-5.00 PM
In academic year 2026-27, 4 of our current MA students in Mobility Studies will have the opportunity to study for a second MA degree at the University of Lancaster, either in English Literary Studies or in Social Research, and 4 students from Lancaster will simultaneously have the opportunity to join Padua’s MA programme in Mobility Studies.
This exciting opportunity has arisen out of an established research collaboration between Lancaster’s Centre for Mobilities Research [CeMoRe] and the Centre for Advanced Studies in Mobilities & Humanities in Padua [MoHu].
The programme operates according to a mutual fee waiver, meaning that participating students will be exempt from tuition fees (though they will need to cover the cost of their travel and accommodation). There will be an application process for students interested in applying to the scheme.
The launch event will take place on Thursday 22nd January, both in Lancaster and online: the Programme coordinators from both Universities will be giving short talks on MA curricula and answering questions about how the programme works.
