Walking with the city, a Graphic Walkshop with Tânia Cardoso and Giada Peterle

"Walking with"is a method of research that promotes an inclusive, open and collaborative way of co-producing knowledge through movement. Rather than thinking of the walker as a solitary figure, we claim the act of walking as a generative social event, where more-than-human bodies, voices, and stories emerge together. The graphic walkshop is a creative urban walk that engages participants in drawing and writing exercises. Drawing while walking we will explore the narrative lines that compose our urban stories.

No graphic skill is required. The pathway of maximum 5 Km will be barrier-free. Participants will need to bring their own materials to draw and take notes: please bring a notebook with blank pages, pens or markers in vibrant colours and pencils (dark colours and/or numbers 2B up 8B). By subscribing, participants accept to take part in this research project and to share their materials for further research and dissemination aims connected to WALC.
