The Summer School in Communicating politics. Media, Communication, Activism from the French revolution to the present is promoted by the University of Padova – Department of Historical and Geographic Sciences and the Ancient World, Italy and is offered in cooperation with the University of Paris - Versailles St. Quentin, France. The initiative has been designed in the framework of the existing cooperation activities that partner institutions have undertaken in the field of cultural history.
The course will be held in Padova from September 19th 2016 to September 24th 2016.
It aims at creating an international and highly qualified learning environment, which should allow participants to be actively involved in workshops and seminars and to experiment innovative ways of collaborative learning under the supervision of re-known academics and experts from different Universities and Research Centres.
The School is open to a maximum of 25 participants, 12 of whom may be awarded a scholarship on a competitive basis. It is primarily addressed to graduate and post-graduate students, PhD candidates and young researchers having an academic or professional interest in the relationship between media and politics from a historical perspective.
A good command of English (and possibly French) is required.
