Erasmus Mundus

In the framework of the Erasmus+ Key Action 1 - Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees, which aims at promoting the quality of European higher education and intercultural understanding through cooperation with third countries, the Department of Historic and Geographic Sciences and the Ancient World offers two International Master Degrees. which offer Erasmus Mundus scholarships, which are available for both EU as well as non-EU candidates. At the end of their learning programme, students are awarded either a "double" or a "joint" degree, which are officially delivered by two or more Higher Education partner Institutions and are fully recognized in the countries in which the awarding institutions reside. As an alternative, students may receive a "joint diploma", i.e. a diploma awarded by at least two of the Higher Education Institutions offering an integrated programme.
