The HILD - Heritage, Identity and Local Development Summer School aims at creating an international and highly qualified learning environment, which should allow participants to be actively involved in workshops and seminars and to experiment innovative ways of collaborative learning under the supervision of re-known academics and experts from different Universities and Research Centres.
The Summer School is promoted by the University of Padova – Department of Historical and Geographic Sciences and the Ancient World, Italy (Università, the Universidad Nacional del Centro de la Provincia de Buenos Aires (UNICEN) – Facultad de Ciencias Sociales, Departamento De Antropologia Social, Argentina and the University of Lodz - Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences.
The initiative has been designed in the framework of the existing cooperation activities that partner institutions have undertaken in the field of cultural heritage in the past few years, dealing with its historical investigation as well as preservation and enhancement of cultural heritage as a means to foster local identity and development.
